Why is the phone called the Motorola Signature, and does it matter for my accessories?

The name ‘Signature’ marks Motorola’s new ultra-premium segment, positioned above their previous Edge Pro and Edge Ultra models. This means the phone has a completely new, distinctive form factor that is unusually thin (just 7 mm) for a flagship model. Consequently, accessories from previous series won’t fit; you’ll need cases and covers that are millimetre-precise moulds for the Motorola Signature specifically, to ensure the camera module and buttons align perfectly.

Does the ultrasonic fingerprint reader work through the screen protector?

Yes. Our screen protectors, both tempered glass and plastic films, are designed to be ultra-thin and fully compatible with Motorola’s ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader. You retain 100% touch sensitivity and the fast 165Hz refresh rate is not affected. (Tip: It’s always a good idea to re-register your fingerprint after you’ve applied a new screen protector).

Can I charge my Motorola Signature wirelessly with a cover on?

Absolutely. The Motorola Signature supports very fast wireless charging (up to 50W). The vast majority of our thinner TPU and silicone covers do not affect induction charging at all. However, if you choose a thicker wallet case filled with several bank cards, you may need to open the case or remove the phone for charging to work optimally.
