Return Guide UK

Return Guide

Please note: These instructions apply to returns from mainland UK. If you're in Northern Ireland or another EU country, please refer to your local guide or contact our support at support@lux-case.com for assistance.

Returning a product from the UK involves a few more steps due to customs, but don’t worry - this guide will help make it as simple as possible.

📦 Step 1: Pack the Product Securely

  • Make sure the item is well protected to avoid damage during transit.
  • Use appropriate padding and packaging.

🏷 Step 2: Address the Parcel

Write our address clearly on the bottom left of the front of the package.

  • Use clear and easy to read handwriting (or font if you are printing the address).
  • Use a pen or ink that is clear against the colour of the envelope or parcel.
  • Left align the text (no centred or 'stepped' lines).
  • No commas or full stops.
  • Leave a generous margin around the address.

Also, add your own return address on the back side, bottom right corner.

Make sure to write out "Return Address":

My Village
BOURNEMOUTH

📄 Step 3: Customs Declaration (CN22 Form)

Since the UK is no longer part of the EU, you must fill out a CN22 customs declaration for your return.

You can:

It should be filled as such:

Please note that it is important that you write “Returned goods, no commercial value”, as well as you ticking the box of “Returned goods”.

Tariff, VAT / Eori should be left empty.

If you have to put a tariff number, use “39”. (Plastics and articles thereof)

These may come in a few different shapes and sizes, but it is the same theory on all CN22.

If you are uncertain, you could ask your local postal office to help you fill this in. Make sure you stated it is returned goods, so you don’t get taxed!

Now, you just attach it to the envelope, on the same side as the address.

✉️ Step 4: Post the Return

We recommend sending your return using tracked shipping via Royal Mail or another courier. This way, you have proof that the parcel was sent and received.

Keep your receipt and tracking number until your return is confirmed.
