Xiaomi 17 Ultra Cases, Covers and Screen Protectors

The right protection for your Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is a real powerhouse with its 6.9-inch screen and a weight of over 220 grams. This makes it fantastic for films and photos, but it also means there’s a lot of weight that could be damaged if you were to drop it. A good phone cover not only improves your grip on the device but also absorbs the impact of a fall.

Protect the massive camera module

The phone’s greatest strength is the circular camera on the back. As the module is large and protrudes from the body, the lenses are particularly vulnerable to scratches when you set the phone down.

• Cases with a raised rim: Our cases for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra are designed with an extra-thick rim around the camera housing. This ensures the lenses never touch the surface below when the phone is lying on a table.
• Case with camera slider: Do you use your phone in harsh environments? A cover with a built-in sliding cover for the camera provides maximum protection against both dust and sharp keys in your pocket.

Case or cover – which is best?

The type of protection you should choose depends entirely on how you use your mobile:

• Wallet case: Perfect if you want to keep your bank cards and mobile in one place. A wallet case also protects the front of the phone when the flap is closed, and several models can be folded out to act as a stand when you’re watching videos.
• Silicone cases and TPU: Provide maximum grip so that the large phone sits securely in your hand and doesn’t slip out of your pocket.
• Magnetic covers: Your Xiaomi 17 Ultra supports wireless charging (up to 50W), but the phone lacks built-in magnets. If you want to attach the phone to a magnetic car mount, you can buy a cover with an integrated magnetic ring. The cover adds the magnetic function whilst allowing wireless charging to work just as normal.

A flat screen is easier to protect

Unlike several of its predecessors, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a completely flat screen. This is a huge advantage when it comes to screen protectors. A tempered glass screen protector adheres much better and is easier to fit onto a flat surface, without the risk of curved edges starting to come loose over time. Complement your cover with a strong screen protector to keep your Ultra looking brand new for even longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a special case for the camera on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra?

We strongly recommend a case specifically for the camera, as the camera module takes up a large part of the back and protrudes. All our cases are precisely cut to fit the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and feature a raised protective rim around the lens. If you want extra protection, you can choose a case with a built-in lens protector or a sliding camera cover.

Does the Xiaomi 17 Ultra support wireless charging through the case?

Yes, the phone supports fast wireless charging, and most standard and silicone cases work perfectly for charging through the case. However, if you’re using a thick wallet case filled with several bank cards, you may need to remove the phone or fold back the flap to ensure the wireless charger makes good contact.

Can I use MagSafe accessories with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra?

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra lacks the built-in magnets in the chassis required for this. However, you can get round this by buying a phone cover with a built-in magnetic ring. With such a cover, you can use magnetic mounts and Qi2 chargers (which are often colloquially and loosely referred to as MagSafe accessories).

Do cases from the Xiaomi 16 Ultra fit the 17 Ultra?

No, the cases are not compatible. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a new flat-screen design, modified bezels and adjusted dimensions for the camera module. You’ll need to use a case that’s designed specifically for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
